The Year 1986...
Growing up, I got to experience my first video game back in 1986. Ever since then, I always been fascinated by game design and art.
Through numerous projects and hard work, I landed my first gig as a designer when I took over vehicle systems for Pandemic Studios on Mercenaries 2. It was an extremely difficult position, but I enjoyed the challenge, as well as working with a team to make sure our vehicles felt right. At the time I did not really understand what contributed to how something felt to other players, but through numerous years and experiences, I slowly started understanding game design, as well as design psychology, which helped me be successful in my many roles.
I am still an active gamer, and excited to see the industry continue to evolve. My hobbies outside of gaming are photography, post processing, discovering new music, checking out local car shows, enjoying 80's movies, spending time with my family, and good BBQ.
